Weather/Climate of Moscow Moscow has a continental climate, typified by exceedingly cold, long winters and hot summers. Moscow is exposed to cold winters, warm and mild summers, and very brief spring and autumn seasons. Typical high temperatures in the warm months of July and August are around 22°C. Winter snows start in October and the snow blanket persists well into spring. Moscow has little rainfall, most of its precipitation falling as snow. |
