Weather/Climate in Dubai
Dubai is unusual in that its population comprises mainly expatriates,
with UAE nationals (Emiratis) constituting the minority. The vast majority of these
expatriates come from South Asia and the South East Asia. The summer months, from June to September, are too hot for comfort. Mid-day temperatures range
from 350C to 420C, and occasionally top 490C at the height of summer. During this period there
is a sharp drop in night time temperatures, with these falling to roughly half the midday readings,
i.e. 200C to 280C.
